About:

In the direct vicinity of the Kokerei Hansa, a multifunctional and innovative technology area is being created - the Energy Campus. As an urban development component, it will be integrated into the exhibition grounds of the IGA 2027 and, in addition to a functional and architecturally high-quality development, will take up future-oriented approaches of the IGA 2027. Topics such as energy and water management as well as climate adaptation are integral components of the planning, the structural development as well as the content orientation. In addition, the campus with an area of approximately 6.5 hectares creates a symbiotic relationship with the industrial monument Kokerei Hansa, which is located in the immediate vicinity.
